About the Author

Mary Angela Zagone was born in 1952 to a family of seven in the warm desert climate of Alamogordo, New Mexico. She graduated from high school in 1970 and earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters of Reading Education, from Eastern New Mexico University. During the early years of learning, music was the most powerful influence on her life. She had many opportunities to sing or perform, but a longing for something beyond stardom grew in her heart. Mary taught for 28 years in several towns in New Mexico, spending most of that time in Carlsbad, New Mexico. During that time, Mary’s greatest education came when she began to learn and experience what God wanted for her life. She married Kelly Allen in 1988, and they had two boys, Michael and Anthony. Her name was changed to Mary Angela Allen, but she was known as Mary.

Mary was an ordinary girl who God gave a mission of encouraging God’s holy people through teaching and singing. Through the many adventures and miracles that Mary went through, a great desire was developed in her to serve her Lord Jesus. She believes that God provided miraculous help that saved her from disasters both by her own faulty actions and other accidental circumstances. Through God’s grace, Mary once drove miles with no oil in her car, and survived a snow-packed spin on a mountain road. She witnesses many supernatural healings and entertained angels unknowingly. But, the most incredible miracle was witnessing the changing of souls around her. Now her mission is to help all around her to understand that God truly loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives. Through Christian friends God has taught her to teach others to say in their heart, “I believe in Jesus Christ, and he will do the rest.”
